Alisa Swietlik – President

As President of Altra Builders, Inc., Alisa enjoys working directly with customers to bring their vision to life. From estimating projects to coordinating with subcontractors prior to construction, she makes sure every job gets off to a strong start. With a degree in psychology, she’s always been passionate about understanding people and building lasting relationships — qualities that carry into every project and partnership.

Jose Noriega – Vice President

As Vice President, Jose is most at home in the field, where he keeps projects moving smoothly from day one. He works closely with subcontractors, manages schedules, and ensures the work stays on track. With a degree in economics, he combines practical know-how with a sharp eye for efficiency, helping projects stay on time and within budget.

Together, the siblings continue the family tradition their parents began in 1990 — blending professionalism and quality with the kind of personal attention that only comes from a family-owned business.

Altra Builders, Inc. was founded on a vision of hard work, craftsmanship, and customer service. Our story began in 1989, when Bill Stevens started a steel fabricating business. Just a year later, in 1990, he was approached by Star Building Systems with the opportunity to launch a steel building franchise. With their support — including the expertise of an architect specializing in metal buildings — Altra Builders, Inc. was born.

A few years later, Darcy Stevens joined her husband, and together they built more than just projects — they built trust. Side by side, they estimated jobs, sold projects, and cultivated a loyal client base that returned again and again for the experience and customer care our parents were known for.

Bill, our Dad, instilled in us two lessons that remain at the heart of everything we do today:

In 1996, Jose joined the company, followed by Alisa in 1998. Today, as the second generation leading Altra Builders, we continue the traditions of quality, professionalism, and dedication that our parents built the business on — while bringing fresh expertise and modern construction methods to every project.
